Supporting faculty in developing the skills, strategies, and confidence to lead complex, collaborative research.

FORGE Leadership is a structured program designed to help faculty expand their research capabilities by developing the skills needed to lead large, complex, and collaborative research initiatives. The program focuses on moving beyond individual grants to program-level thinking, team leadership, and strategic positioning for major funding opportunities with significant opportunities for societal impact.

FORGE Leadership is open for applications until November 10, 2026. Program components will begin in January 2027.

Who is This For?

  • Associate and full FSU professors
  • FSU faculty with a track record of externally funded research
  • FSU researchers interested in leading large-scale or multi-PI grants, expanding their research impact, and developing leadership capacity in team science

FORGE Leadership combines cohort-based learning, applied strategy development, and access to experienced research leaders.

Strategic Proposal & Program Development
