Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research Program Talk

The Wenner-Gren Foundation plays a leading role in supporting anthropological research. Since the mid-1900s, the Foundation has promoted advancements in anthropological knowledge by offering grants and fellowships, publishing journals, hosting conferences, and other means. This talk will feature a program officer, Dr. Donna Auston who will speak on Wenner-Gren Foundation funding opportunities available to FSU researchers. It will also feature an FSU faculty member, Dr. John Mathias from the College of Social Work who won a Wenner-Gren Foundation Workshop Grant in 2022. Dr. Mathias will share on his experience applying for the grant and hosting the workshop. After Drs. Auston and Mathias speak, there will be time for Q&A from the audience. Faculty are encouraged to ask Dr. Auston specifically about their project ideas.
