Connecting Globally: Building Faculty Skills with the Fulbright Program

As part of FSU Global's Celebration of International Education, Research Development and the Office of Faculty Development and Advancement are hosting a panel talk on the Fulbright Program.  The Fulbright Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, was established in 1946 to increase intercultural knowledge and foster peaceful relations between the United States and other countries.  With more than 160 partnering nations around the world, the U.S. government offers scholarships to American citizens--including students, scholars, teachers, scientists, artists, and other professionals--to study, conduct research, teach, and/or pursue creative activities abroad.  Citizens from other countries may likewise qualify for scholarships to come to the United States.
