Children & Youth
October 21, 2025 | 9 - 11 AM
Miller Hall, 3rd Floor University Center C
Collaborative Collision: Children & Youth will bring together researchers and practitioners from across FSU working to address the biggest challenges facing children and youth today.
We encourage the participation of local community and clinical partners interested in joining these efforts.
The goal of this event is to help build connections and form new teams to drive impactful, solution-oriented research and evidence-based programs that will improve the lives of young people in our communities.
Collaborative Collision focuses on each potential team member's research background and interests. Faculty researchers are asked to create a Research Profile, discussing their expertise and specific ways they can help or be helped by a collaborator or team.
You may be interested in educational interventions to optimize children's learning, developmental trajectories in children's health, or evaluation of child welfare support systems - those are just a few examples! The common thread is a commitment to improving outcomes for young people ages 0-17. This is the place to meet experts across the different domains serving children and youth in our communities!
The registration deadline for this event is September 22 for faculty researchers and October 6 for all other non-faculty attendees.

The proposal submission window will open on October 21, 2025 and close on December 1, 2025. Proposals should be submitted through FSU's InfoReady Portal per instructions detailed in the RFA.
