Mission. The FSU Office for Human Subjects Protection (OHSP) & Institutional Review Board (IRB) serve to protect the rights and welfare of human subjects by adherence to applicable ethical principles and laws.

Important Announcements
- Operating Status: OPEN. RAMP IRB is online (outages noted on log-in). In celebration of the winter holidays, Florida State University will be closed beginning on Monday, December 22, through Friday, January 2, 2026. The University will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2026. The Office for Human Subjects Protection (OHSP) will be closed on the above-mentioned dates and will reopen at the start of business on Monday, January 5. However, the RAMP system is online 24/7.
