White House Science Adviser Confirmed
In the final hours of the 115th Congress, the United State Senate confirmed the nomination of University of Oklahoma Vice President for Research, Kelvin Droegemeier to head the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Dr. Droegemeier will be President Trump's first science adviser. The nomination, initially put forward in July, was widely praised in the research community.
